Introduction: Vietnam fruit and vegetables Association (VINAFRUIT) was established in March 2001- as a NGO. VINAFRUIT consists of 120 enterprises operating in the field of fruit, vegetables such as growing, processing, exporting, importing, researching, consulting and various services related to the fruit and vegetables sector. Functions: 1. Linking all members in order to cooperate and support each other. 2. Implementing trade promotion 3. Providing information 4. Training 5. Connecting members with Vietnam government and foreign businesses 6. Participating in governmental policy making in developing fruit and vegetables industry 7. Protecting members’ rights 8. Participating in the development of the fruit and vegetable sector 9. Advising members on horticulture.
