Established in 1944 by Reginald and Mary Rouget, our Yarra Valley orchard began as a family-run cherry, berry and stone fruit farm. Their sons joined early, building a strong foundation as R.J. Rouget and Sons. Over generations, deep horticultural expertise and a passion for premium cherries have been passed down. Today, third-generation growers Michael and Simon lead the business, with the fourth generation now emerging. While the orchards have evolved, the Rouget family’s commitment to quality, tradition, and growing exceptional cherries remains at the core of the business. We operate orchards in 3 regions, each location selected for its unique climate and suitability to grow the best possible fruit for the entire spread of the cherry season.
