To work with variety owners from around the world to provide them with information on the characteristics that new varieties need to possess in order to be successful globally. To evaluate varieties from commercial growers' perspective and to provide feedback to variety owners on the potential for their selections globally. To work co-operatively to commercialise varieties on a global basis and develop royalty streams for variety owners. To exchange information between shareholders re all fruit production matters with the aim of providing shareholders with best agricultural practice and information in order to make the shareholders more competitive. The IPA shareholders include Montague Farms (AU) Heartland (NZ), CMI Orchards (USA), San Clemente (CL), VOG (EU) and Fruitways (SA).
